FriendsOfOurs are very excited to introduce our newest member of staff Joe Gimlik. Joe’s role at FriendsOfOurs is that of Developer Extraordinaire and he will work his magic on everything from slick i-pad interfaces to intricate websites. When Joe is not “wired in” in our studio he runs the gallery and retail space Material together with his partner Lucy. Welcome Joe!
Yesterday it was once again time for one of the legendary studio parties at FriendsOfOurs. The drinks were flowing and Kam’s cold meat display went down a storm! We would like to say thank you to all of you who could make it down to The Print House, we really hope that you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did. Digital Forming and FriendsOfOurs have been working tirelessly for the last year to produce the world’s first fully 3D customisable eCommerce proposition.
FriendsOfOurs have been working as digital partner for Digital Forming designing, building and overseeing the website development of UCODO.com and also consulting on the overall site identity.
UCODO.com will be launched in early 2010 to present the Digital Forming® platform online for the “Mass Customisation” of lifestyle products using Rapid Manufacturing and Laser Sintering Technologies. UCODO stands for ‘User Co-Designed Objects’, bringing about the notion of ODOs (’Original Design Objects’) and CODOs (’Co-Designed Objects’)
